From 2000 - 2005, she lived in Southeast Asia where she served and still serves a broad base of alternative health and lifestyle seekers via personal and email counseling. For close to a decade, she has authored the an ongoing advise column, "Sat What?" in the Bali Advertiser newspaper. Author of the self-help manual, HEALING EMOTIONAL HUNGER, Dr. Zae also wrote the article on eating disorders and their treatment for the ENCYCLOPAEDIA BRITANNICA 1996 HEALTH AND MEDICAL ANNUAL. She completed internships at Tenrikyo Hospital, Japan and at Yangshao County Hospital of Traditional Oriental Medicine in Gangxi, China. From 1988 - 1999, she lived, worked and maintained a private counseling practice on Maui and the Big Island, Hawaii. Her enthusiasm and focus on issues of health and natural healing play an inspirational role in the freedom and recovery of people whose lives she touches. With a high level of integrity and commitment, Dr. Zae sponsored and produced the non-profit, educational television program called RETURN TO HEALTH: CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME. Following its original broadcast on Maui in 1998, she designed and implemented the Carpal Care Now web site. Profits generated from the television program and from web site sales are donated in full to the outreach efforts of World Peace Center. World Peace Center, a nonprofit peace affiliate of the World Peace Prayer Society, Inc., shares the World Peace Prayer Society's mission statement: "to encourage people of all ages and cultures to respect life, to embrace compassion, to live in harmony with self and others, and to celebrate diversity rather than use it as a reason for conflict."
